A Whisker of Suspicion (Riverbend K-9s Book 3)

Wildlife veterinarian Dr. Veronica Perry travels the world helping animals, but when the Riverbend Animal Conservation Center (RACC) offers her a chance to lead their veterinary team and aid in repopulating endangered species close to home, she eagerly accepts. The move to Riverbend, Indiana, also lets her help train Luna, a foster puppy in the Riverbend K-9 Academy’s wildlife detection program.

Working alongside Kai Torres, RACC’s head zookeeper and her longtime friend, Veronica helps restore the center’s new land conservancy, which promises to benefit both native wildlife and the community—until two residents are mysteriously attacked nearby.

Just as they think the land is finally secure, Luna detects strange scents that lead Veronica and Kai to uncover a dangerous truth: the conservancy is being used to hide a criminal operation, and the perpetrator will stop at nothing to keep their secret.
